The Challenge
Design a digital platform enabling hosts to create and manage dining experiences in their own homes, while allowing guests to discover, book, and attend those events.
The product needed to balance three critical dimensions:
- Experience discovery and appeal
- Trust and safety between participants
- Simplicity and clarity throughout the booking process
My Role
Led the definition of the product experience from initial concept to final interface. Structured the two primary user journeys — host and guest — defining critical flows for event creation, discovery, and booking, as well as the interaction standards required to support a scalable two-sided model.
Approach
- Defined the value proposition for both sides of the platform
- Structured the marketplace logic (hosts and guests)
- Mapped the full journey: discovery → experience detail → booking → confirmation
- Designed trust mechanisms (profiles, reviews, transparent information)
- Created the event creation flow (menu, description, availability, pricing)
- Prototyping and responsive design
Outcome
A structured platform supporting peer-to-peer dining experiences, transforming a social concept into a scalable digital product. The solution balances emotional engagement with functional clarity, ensuring trust, predictability, and ease of use.
